Hi everyone, I have had the Polaroid sonar sensor working for a while and I just noticed some limitations in it. When sensing over about 15 feet it becomes very inaccurate, it registers the appropriate distance but intermittently gives out much (...) (27 years ago, 3-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Regarding sensing flame/arc...Eltec Instruments make pyroelectric detectors to detect flames and arcs emanating from arc welding etc.. Hi all, Would anybody want to take a look at _5mm_ and _3mm_ diameter gearmotors? 1:125 & 1:25 ratios input speeds up to 80,000 rpm bidirectional and brushless.
