Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts

Does this mean I should stop looking for those $500 Lego 7750 trains on eBay, where all I really want are the big red train wheels? You know, if it sounds too good to be true... (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts

(...) This last one seems to me to be the most relevant in this case. If I sit down with my guitar and pluck out the beginning of "Enter Sandman", it would be completely ludicrous for Metallica to sue me for it - and if the law believes it is (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Divers & Grey arches?

(...) Probably too late for me to be of use for this, but since I already looked I'll add this.   Re: MUGs attending STUDfest 2001.1 in NSW

(...) I thought each state was having it's own sequence ? The first official 2001 Studfest is Sunday February 4th at Richard's. I'm thinking of organising an unofficial event in January, maybe a soccer tournament or something. pw (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Anyone found the Imperial Shuttle or AT-St yet?

(...) Nope, not as of yesterday. Not planning on checking today, since it's been raining all day, and the forcast is for a ~20 degree (Celcius) drop in the next 12-24 hours. Not even Lego can get me out on those roads. :/ James (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Possible Lugnet related virus?

I've recieved 3 emails from someone named Eric Sophie all with messages enticing me to open "lego related" attachments. Did anyone else get these messages? I have no idea how anyone would relate me with legos unless they came to Lugnet. (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: F40PH Instructions on Brickshelf
