Re: TLG press release - not a crisis?

Jesse Long writes: It's like Mary Kay wihtout the pink cars. Just to keep the record straight, sale reps now have the choice between the traditional pink Cadilac or a red Grand Am. Louise Belles (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

  VB5 and the RCX Datalog

I'm using the Spirit.ocx control in Visual Basic 5 and following all the instructions in the Mindstorms SDK. Howerver, whenever I call, for example, Spirit1.UploadDatalo...1,value2), and am using proper values, the light on the IR tower doesn't even (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Helmet included in 7128??

I was reviewing the LEGO Star Wars web site last night and I noticed the set description in 7128 (speeder bikes) included a reference to a helmet for Luke. Could this be an Endor-style helmet as seen in Return of the Jedi? This "helmet" can't be (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: FOTW: Stash of old sets in Brighton, Mass., U.S.A.

(...) Good question. I think the list of numbers he read to me was from a quick inventory someone took this morning. So it could be there are more sets hiding. Or maybe not. Steve (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Discount sets at WalMart

Hi, The Wal-Mart in my area has finally decided to put sets on clearance. The larger sets are $35 and the smaller sets are $2 to $3. The larger sets are limited in number and the smaller sets number in the dozens. There is an exception. There are 8 (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: FOTW: Stash of old sets in Brighton, Mass., U.S.A.

Alright, who's the AZ resident who bought the Solar Snooper while I was trying to get through?? The store owner was friendly, and just a bit surprised about the interest these sets were getting. Apparently, he didn't realize LEGO sets go out of (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
