  Re: High Speed Trains-Photogallery Link-LEGO Acela v.1

(...) 3 (...) I have noticed the new 2001 Mars set 7313. This set 7313 appears to have a new "glass" curved and tapered piece. I am very curious how that might work for a "high speed" train locomotive cab window. To keep bricks close to the tapered (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)

  New service pack inventories

Hi all, I've seen pics of those new service pack 5218-22, the pneumatc, wheels, styling, motor, chassis packs. Anyone know where I can find the inventories? By the looks of them I'd be most interested in 5218 (Pneumatic) and 5219 (Wheels), unless (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Space World Hosting

Well, I've said I would toss in $25, and Jon said he's good for $25, so we still need $50 for the hosting. NCCW has a special where they'll sign your domain up for $15. So hey... anyone else want to help out? The more people who pitch in, the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: 5934 Track Master / Dino Explorer review

I bought this set about a month ago. I didn't like the vehicle on the front, but I really liked the alternative one on the back. It looks more aggressive for exploring Dino Island. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.reviews)

  Motorbike in parkscale

Hi all, I showed a previous version of this bike to Frank Buiting and he said I really should post it here. So, have a look at my 1:20-ish scale LEGO GoldWing. It's in my Brickshelf gallery ((URL) and on my homepage ((URL) more there, and there's (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

  No speculations here...

...I actually *know* what *will* come out in 2002. First, though, take a look at Slizers. They primary models were released in 1999. Then Millennia, the supposed ultimate Slizer came around in 2000. Roboriders came in 2000 and next year in 2001 we (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2002)

Re: text location for apps and q?

Yeah. I have to agree with Ross. Increased unix-ness would be nice, but additional complexity with no actual performance gain most definitely is not.   Re: Self-Centering extended coupler

I've been thinking of this for awhile, and I have a possible solution. I have made the coupler swing left and right as the truck swings. This keeps the coupler in position whether pulling or pushing and whether on straight track or curves. I used (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)
