I am planning to port NQCC to DOS to use an old Laptop I have to program my bots. My old laptop has an ancient 286 processor so I have trouble locating a proper compiler that can target it. (...) Only, ONLY, if it uses date arithmetic that crosses the Y2K boundary. Your ancient PC, that has not been upgraded, will function just fine on Jan 1 2000, regardless. It may not be showing you the correct date, because of the rollover, and (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
