What a RIP OFF!!!, I live in the town where much of Starwars was made! (Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, home to Elstree studios, even went on the grounds a few times). Did they forget to change the currency for the X-wing, Snow speeder and Tie-fighter (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I ordered the kit the first day I could. I got it last Friday, and put it together over the weekend. The douglas board comes with NO assembly instrictions! I have just finished building the extension board, and, while it appears to work all right, I can't seem to find resistor R4 on the schematic. The power transistor near the on/off switch is getting quite hot with the expansion board piggybacked on (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Just thought I would add that it *is* possible (if a bit slow) to read an analog signal w/ a digital port by timing the decay of the signal thru a RC circuit...not a particularly precise method, either. < Watching for the Fedex guy bringing my (...)
