The only difference between the 1.0 and 1.5 hardware is the power jack. IMO, the 1.0 RCX is more valuable because of this. I'm not sure if the 2.0 firmware will run on the 1.0 & 1.5 but I can't imagine LEGO would put out an upgrade that wasn't (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
