  football sets prices

At Camberwell toyworld today, I was told that the price for the soccer field [in the pricelist valid August 1] would be about $70. I'm guessing this means that the price is about to go up [a little], but it will not be anywhere near what it was at (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Hi Ross, Welcome to lugnet.loc.au !! On a day to day basis, Big W is the best place for Lego, if there's one near you; sets are usually 10% less than elsewhere, and old stock can go on sale for 40-60% off. It sounds the same.....Looks like LA decided to copy the european catalogue, ditching stuff they didn't want [ZNAP, SCALA, SERVICE PACKS], put a disclaimer so they don't have to repeat the soccer set fiasco [where the catalogue showed them, the (...)
