  LDList

Does LDList require an ldraw.ini file or a LDRAWPATH? Scanning doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't have an ldraw.ini file because I don't have LDAO (since the latest version crahed my machine--or has this been fixed?) TIA, --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Right, but telling your viewers to do that every time isn't a very viable option. (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: 3DS MAX

Yeah I'd like to know where you got it for free also! I searched the Autodesk and Kinex site and there was nothing about the core product for free. There was a free upgrade from 3.0 to 3.1 I do have a copy of 3D Studio Max 1.0 that I got when I was (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) You can work it out easily enough - if you know the height of the tower and the angle of the laser to the ground. For (say) a 1 meter tall tower, the error (in meters) is 1 / tan ( A ) - 1 / tan ( A + 1 ) ...so if the beam is at 45 degrees to (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) Fun isn't it! (...) Wait, wait, wait. You must need more than two numbers. Mathematically, you can't specify a 2D position without TWO numbers (eg X and Y, or Heading and Range, or two angles). Your timing between three hits from two (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 2001 Set info

(...) True, that is usually the case. However, according to M-W, to censor is to "[...] suppress or delete anything considered objectionable".   Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) No - the idea is that the odometry only has to be accurate enough to get you ANYWHERE within (say) a 1 foot radius circle. Then you drive away and read whichever section of the barcode you happen to cross on the way out - which tells you your (...) (26 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Thanks for the lead. I was trying to remember the address of the construction site. I do not think I will be buying that set. I need 12 windows.   Octal Latch Burn!

Hi, I think, that I burn the 74HC373 (octal latch), but before removing the chip I want to test it to be sure that the problem is there. But I don´t know how to test if the latch works fine. Any Ideas? Thanks Daniel Ramirez (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
