  RE: Autonomous Robot

No' I don't think you correctly understood what I am proposing. The reflective surface would be on the outside of the funnel shaped piece with the narrow tip of the funnel resting on the center of the sensor. Funnel \ / light beam \ /___...___ \ /| (...)   Re: Studfest: Part the Fifth - Brikwars

(...) And those 300+ figs were rather photogenic on the day. Kevin's 34 pics are in and cropped and ready for posting (...wait for it...wait for it!). Time to be doing some story writing, for which I will need some details. It seems to me that (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Motion detector

I recall seeing some stuff about the Eltec 442-3 pyroelectric sensor on lugnet a few months ago. I was somewhat put off by the device cost - $40 however. Well, I noticed that my local grocery store now has a motion/intruder detector made by GE on (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Sneak preview of my GEV

(...) Having just scoured the net, I can't find any pictures of a GEV. I will have to recheck my game box, but I thought I recalled a turret on the GEV. I have a hard time imagining the GEV being effective without a turret, and the targeting (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

WOW! Excellent job Mark! I love the use of Ice Planet skis as engines, and the extensive use of Star Wars blaster-thingys everywhere. Very cool, as usual. (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: THE WINNERS!

Yes, there certainly were. In a few cases, the winner was only separated from the runners-up by a point or two. I'm glad I held the contest, and I hope people aren't going to go back to the starfighter-of-the-week building just because my contest is (...) (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

Thanks Mladen. I have only Bob Hayes to thank for inspiring me to work really hard on a freighter. Still not as big or developed as one of his, but I'll keep working on it. ~M (26 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)
