Or should I just post the models and not worry about? Thanks -- (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

  Self-Centering extended coupler

This came up a couple of days ago, but I finally came up with a design for a coupler that (1) is not connected to the trucks, (2) pivots to allow the cars to negotiate the curves, (3) centers itself when the car is being pushed, and (4) pivots to (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Booth monitors and crowd control

(...) I think I had to use this once because the dog got motion sickness. ;-) (...) That's true. There was some operator "floating" going on. (...)   Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) Clever! ...Food for thought! The only snag I can see is that when the first laser is being acquired, both the tower and the robot have to spin. It might take a LOT of rotations for them both to happen to be pointing in the right direction for (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: My Design-A-Civvie MOCs

(...) <snip> (...) That exact image is what inspired me to make the ship in the first place. Originally, I was thinking of making an LDraw model, but two things stopped me: 1) I'm really not all that hot with LDraw; I'm better at the real brick, and (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)
