Re: WHAT IF? Take a look!

(...) I'd certainly buy them! Only hopefully it wouldn't be done with just train sets; at least some old Legoland Town sets as well, and preferably old sets from all themes. (...) I don't know if it would work, but I'm all for that. I'd be sure to (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: NEW Argos Catalogue

Hi all, I was also very disappointed at the selection in the new Lego catalogue, although one thing is giving me some (small) hope... As the catalogue has to cover the period up to Christmas, and as many Christmas toys are only launched nearer the (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: My beautiful methods of storage

I've figured out the ultimate storage solution- don't. Build instead. :-) Mike (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Green hat?

(...) I'm quite sure the green hat has been in several freestyle sets, mostly buckets. You should be able to find one of them easily. Tim (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.basic)

Re: New Hope Valley Railway Event

(...) Not now, but I can fill them. Baseblates are 10"x10". The 8'x4' can have 4 1/2 by 9 1/2 base plates. You can do the math for the rest. (...) I can build stuff pretty quick, just tell me what to build. I can also build some decent passenger (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

  Re: Finally! Pallas Spaceworks Update

Great work, Karim! I always enjoy seeing your new models; I particularly like the passenger liner; you've really captured the essence of a luxury cruiser there. The engineering vessel is a fine piece of work, too. I must say that my all-time (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space)

(...) liner; (...) :) It's my favorite also :) (...) Well, I'm in a sorting phase right now, so it will be a little while before I have anything new... although I have some cool ideas. Thanks! --Karim (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space)

  Re: TV

(...) First of all, what size do you want to build it? Minifig scale? lifesize? some other scale? For a minifig scale TV, I usually just use a black 1x2 brick, put a small control stick on for an antenna, and maybe some kind of sticker on one side (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Finally! Pallas Spaceworks Update

Wow! Amazing as usual! I see on the back of your Scarab Field Unit, it has those flags set vertically. Can you believe I did the same thing yesterday while building my own mecha (except its bi-pedal), mine uses 8 of them and they are heat sinks. (...)   Re: My beautiful methods of storage

(...) I disagree. A good storage system can make finding the right pieces easier, and therefore makes building easier. Well, of course, some people do go a little far, i.e. this box has 2x4 white bricks, this one has 2x2 black bricks, etc. But color (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.storage)
