I built a nice little model of FIFA's World Cup soccer trophy to enter Kansas City's MLS LEGO Soccer Builder Contest. Hmmm - but that was hand-cranked. Did you try applying a motor to it, and see if it could take on the same amount of torque? Rotational speed isn't the only factor to take into account, there is also the torsional component. To make a half-decent (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

I used Corel Photo Paint, but should have used MSPaint. Corel has brush strokes fade lighter at the edges, which makes it look like real paint, but has effects like on the octapus in the cave-white outlines. I'm trying to make an enhanced version in (...)
