One way to accomplish this is to use wireless serial devices. These RF devices allows one to hook up ANY serial device wireless. I have seen some listed on ebay for about $100+. The setup is as follows: PC--> serial transmitter serial receiver-->IR (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
