  Re: SOCCER sets update.

Nothing to do with the sales rep, this is an older style Toy store, Toyworlds run their own shows, Camden is really a rural area next to a satellite suburb of Sydney, Campbelltown, where Big W's abound in (...)   Re: Newbie with questions

(...) It's a compression of the greeting good day. A greeting that has become a bit cliched (eg. Paul Hogan), but still genuine in most cases. My NLSO thinks that no-one says it, she should read Lugnet, I guess. pete.w (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  RE: Newbie with questions

I guess you haven't seen the crocodile dundee movies...G'day is the strine [Australian dialect of english, as opposed to the language in the US which is not english <G,D&R>] form of welcome. Similarly, ooroo [I think that's the correct spelling] is (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Newbie with questions

(...) Well, I knew that much :-) (...) OK, well, I thought there's some reason why you're compressing it (e.g. joking 'bout a TV anchor or something.) Never mind... :-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Large DAT files

Hi, Does anyone else have experience working with large DAT files? I'd like to discuss the limitations of the various CADs, L3P, POVRay, etc. I'm generating models in the neighbourhood of 29Kbricks, and I'm obviously pushing the capabilities of (...)   Re: Bulk processing

(...) There is. What you do is you have these lines in your batch file. rename ?--01.gif ?.gif And so on, with more ? each time. That should work for you. (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) I think that's a great idea, then on the CW site, there could be a link to each of the member's story pages. I'm not a member yet, I just have to send in my money and I'll be set. ~Wilson P.S.   What is part 3460.dat ?

Is this an official part? If not, can someone send this to me? It does not seem to be in my library (for good or bad). I downloaded the space station advanced module and I receive 'part not found' errors from MLCad and LEdit just displays no part. I (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: global output control

(...) The problem I have with ForwardOutput() and ReverseOutput() is that the terms 'forward' and 'reverse' already have a meaning - specifically they refer to motor directions...   Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) You're right, though I think it's because of the exterior limitations more than the interior. The Queen's ship has way too many curves to be rendered without great expense.   Re: SO WHAT LOGO AM I DESIGNING????

Do we need to worry about a national name at all? Until there's a need for a national body, why bother with it. Who knows, by that time we might end up calling ourselves, the Peoples Lego Front of Judea, Or the Popular Peoples Lego Front of Judea. (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I LIKE it! One thing I'm most curious about is how you've mounted the cylinders. Do they use a technic axle through the round bricks and plates? Thanks, Will Lego Beach Department of Emergency Services www.crosswinds.net/~hokie (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)
