Re: Models for Display at Kidvention

If you want more trains, my wild west train is available to render. Just so you know, no I dont have pysical representations of my models, however both the shadwick castle model and the WW train are reasonably easy to build if you can find the right (...)   2x2 tile mosaic possibilities (was: Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection)

(...) Hmmm...According to (URL), there are currently 3 colors of 2x2 tiles being offered for US$6.99/100 -- black, white, and red. That's not much, but it's enough to do a three-tone mosaic. If somebody had US$1000 to blow on 2x2 tiles, they could (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Models for Display at Kidvention

I have my shadwick castle and royal coach that could be shown, and if anyone out there has some of the royal knights sets then the model can be built as well. Dont bother looking for pirates, you wont find anything because ldraw doesnt have very (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection

(...) Of course, you also have factor in a bit of slop, because I doubt that you would use each bag of each color fully, nor would you want to run out part way through. I just look forward to enough tiles to do something like Sanjay did with his (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection

(...) I'm drooling at the thought of possibly being able to someday cover a 48x48 baseplate with a mosaic of 1x1 tiles. Let's see... 48x48 would be 2,304 1x1 tiles...what would that cost? Assuming the price of 1x1 tiles was 1/4 the prices of 2x2 (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: The problem I have with upcoming product hoaxes

(...) No, I fell for it, hook line and sinker. Perhaps it's because I *wanted* it to be true, because I know that Lego is capable of far better designs than what we are currently getting in the train line. When I finally realised these were a hoax, (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Town layout at Friday meeting

we will have lots of road plate as well.we have all kinds of assorted plates from various eras. I am not 1 00 percent certain about this, but we may also have our special Lego tables by then. We cannot wait to show them off -- the workmanship is (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Models for Display at Kidvention

Hey everybody... I am looking for a few models to display at the Kidvention with the LDraw setup. They need to have a virtual representation in .dat format so we can print up a poster of a rendering of the model. I'm looking for stuff from a lot of (...)   RE: Wish List

Good luck getting them at MSRP. I don't know that you'll find any of these even remotely near that price unless they are recent releases [1999,2000] [and 6399..I'm not sure what MSRP is, but I'm sure it's well under $200US, and you'd be lucky to get (...)
