  Re: Lego Blimp Project

(...) I did some work on that. It was for a webcam that could move around and lower a part of it with the camera and could spin around... It was going fine until I realized I had to support the track every few inches. WAY to many holes in the (...) (26 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: A BSB at Port Block

(...) It's that part just under the leaned-over mast-piece bowsprit. Usually the figurehead sits on this. In the original RBR it's a yellow wedge about 8-10 studs long (sorry, it's not here at the moment.) I placed the "wings" over that and (...) (26 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.pirates)

  RE: Lego Blimp Project

(...) Use an intermediate support, like a 8ft long 2x4. Then you only have to support the 2x4 at the two ends. And you can make holes in the 2x4 to mount your track all day long and not worry. Tilman (26 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Where did you lot spring from?

Yes, it does; at least, all the LEGO in all the stores I've been to in the past year have had the CE mark next to the info listing a half-dozen LEGO offices, since some of the parts used in sets sold in the US are made in Europe, as well as the US.   6090 at Lego Outlet

I just got a phone call from one of the Lego Outlets (can't remember which, maybe they didn't say - I'd venture a guess that it was Georgia). So the kind and thoughtful employee informed me that they had gotten 28 copies of 6090 at their store and (...) (26 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Various MOC's metamorphosed from Sets

I picked up a large box of miscellaneous train parts at a sale. Much of it duplicated sets I already had, though the sets in the box were incomplete. So I threw these parts together with my complete sets to create some MOCs that have evolved from (...) (26 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

Buy extras. :^) I just bought my second X-wing set this week. I just love the new Star Wars parts... lots of good parts. I finished a new mecha last night.
