Re: Where are these survey answers coming from? (was: New Survey up for LEGO)

(...) I just wanted to second Todd's thoughts here. The main reason I have not participated in the survey is that it seems "fishy" to me. It seems to me if LEGO wanted an "Offical Survey" they would do it themselves not through a supposidly (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: LEGO books in libraries (long)

  Re: US S@H Specials, May 1 - May 7, 2000

The only cool part in the Extreme Creatures set is the fiber optic doohickey. Other than that, it's mostly 'fluff'; Technic parts in colors other than black and grey. It's certainly not worth $27.00, to me at least... and I paid $39.99 for it. (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Guarded Inn ?

(...) Yes. (...) I would say very slim. This is the only set to have the red walls, and is one of the more valued sets out there, rarely going for less than $100, regardless of condition, and a sealed one would (at a guess) easily go for several (...)   Re: Why can't we have a Lando: Lego's Race policy

(...) I *know* they're characters. Here's my point. Tell me the name of the guy who is portrayed by the Indian Cheif. The actual guy. There isn't one! It's just a generic figure. Now, I can tell you the names of the guys who are portrayed by the (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Yep. The only one :( (...) :( (...) :) (very cool part) (...) Not good. Unless you want to shell out for the entire set itself... those come and go every once in a while on ebay, etc... (...) I wonder how that'd look-- it might look kinda (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: LEGO books in libraries (long)

(...) Just about any university library should be able to transact an ILL, but you may have to be a member of the university's "community" e.g. student, faculty, library-card-carrying alumnus, etc. Public libraries can do this too. Check out (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.books)

  Re: Kolla in min legosida

Välkommen till LUGNET-gänget, Johan! Hoppas Du ska trivas. Cooligt! Jag gillar att modellerna är hela, och inte bara kulisser eller wire-frame a-la-Technic. Ljusättningen kan jobbas lite på för ännu bättre resultat. mvh, /Tore (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.loc.se)

How much are Blue soldiers worth?

Hello, I was wondering. How much do complete blue soldiers go for each? This includes shoulderpads, backpack, hat, cutlass, and pistol. Please email me, not just post to Lugnet. Thanks. --==Sergio==-- (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Why can't we have a Lando: Lego's Race policy

(...) Look at the top-right pic; click on it to enlarge. At the top middle of the poster, there is a 'fig with a white construction hat... it has a black head. (...) Well, certainly of SOME of them, if not all... -Shiri (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Unknown Pirate Ship

(...) Hey Michael, That would be the Caribbean Clipper Ship! It should have only one mid section for the hull. The set number is 6274. Tom (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Unknown Pirate Ship

(...) It is probably the 6274 Caribean clipper as it was the only one to have white and blue sails and the brown wide hull Happy sailing Marco (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Star Wars LEGO Design Contest II

(...) I disagree. This would result in too many categories, or be restrictive on entries - you'd have to have the right sets to enter. Instead, the judge should consider the difficulty, detail and ingenuity in making the alternative, whichever set (...)
