  Re: Duplex Comms with RCX

(...) Thanks. Early in my carreer, I had the benefit of actually implementing a simple-yet-robust serial communication protocol, so I've had a lot of exposure to the issues involved here. (...) Three seconds is an approximation. The actual time (...) (25 years ago, 27-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Ah bollocks! Waist! WAIST! <writing it out 100 times on the blackboard> just shows how *wasted* I was. (...)   FS: 6999 UFO Cyber Saucer

I bought many copies of this set about 6 months ago and I am looking to get rid of most of them. I am offering them at $10.00 each+ship. I have 5 available. All sets are sealed in the box, but all the boxes are in poor condition. Once I sell these 5 (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Something old, something new FOTW

With nothing better to do with my time, today I went on a half day shopping trip covering much of North Devon. First stop, Barnstaple.   Re: Yards

(...) Unfortuanately, it can't be done without using something to create isolated blocks. Too see the problem, note that the outside rails of the turnouts are always connected. The inside rails are switched depending on the turnouts position. What (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Aye, that abomination and waste of plastic is NOT a head. I honestly don't know what it is, but a head it is not. Lucas should have scrapped Jar-Jar from the get-go. -Chris (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)
