  Re: Drawbridges

(...) Excellent idea! I had seen those before, but didn't think I had any. Until... I got my package from kbkids.com today that had a Deep Reef Refuge (6441) inside. I haven't opened it up yet, but looking at the picture it looks like there's a half (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) That's OK. I lost me before I even started typing. :) (...) Yes, it will go down the left and rightmost sides of the plate acting as a drawbridge, and then a gear will turn to pull it in or out (that's the theory, anyhow :) (...) Hey, I hadn't (...)   Re: "Cobba" Mecha

Rick Nice. I like the black and white legs--reminds me of some kinda Dr. Seuss patterned creature. I'm glad the parts you traded with me went to cool use. And I can't wait to meet it. Cute name, too. Henry (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I missed out on the recent clearance sales of Technic from S@H, but managed to get the last one of the half-off 8480 Technic Shuttles from the ZB in Omaha.   Re: Drawbridges

(...) Youch. You'll discover soon enough that those pieces are overbearing and everywhere, with not enough uses... They appear on every single town-boat ever made by TLC AFAIK...   Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) Well, the real point is, even if it took forever to wipe them out, Luke could hang around forever to do it, because CaveMen could never throw their rocks and spears and clubs high enough to hit the X-Wing. Whether or not they have any chance (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Estimating Piece Count

Well, the minifig count will vary the most, I would guess. Freestyle sets have few minifigs and lots of other elements, while other sets will have a higher minifig:element ratio. Technic will throw off the minifig count completely (and the weight, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: A rather dumb quesion...

(...) Are we the only state that does this? I spent most of my life in PA now I live in Virginia and I just realized that I typically refer to it as "V A". Maybe it's because they rhyme. I also call West Virginia, "W V" but I think they might do (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us)
