Re: Podbucket shot is up at FBTB

(...) It looks a lot like an articulated Sebulba to me. The way the fig is positioned is fairly evocative of Sebulba's posture (which I think is pretty cool,a race using it's upper limbs as legs and feet, and lower ones as arms and hands). eric (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Bloodstone Inn completed, teaser story up!

(...) The tall columns, fancy windows, and arch on the side of the building give it (to me) the flavor of a "reclaimed building"- ie, it looks like it was once a much larger and grander building that fell to ruin and was rebuilt in part by the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Futbol is fun!

(...) I'd agree that from a playable game, the new Football is better than the old, but from a quality of set for display, I definitely would prefer the old. One thing you can do to make the pitch stay together better is to use plates on the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Other collections?

(...) This is a great topic! I collect whatever I feel will add to my current projects (Team:M-tron and Rock Raiders X-treme). Typically, that's Star Wars or Rock Raiders, but I'll venture into any theme once if there are cool minfig faces or pieces (...)   Could use opinions

I've got the skeleton of a set guide up at FBTB, and would like opinions of what I have and what I could use there. If you can take a moment to look at it, I would appreciate it. Tim (URL) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The coolest shading I've ever seen

(...) Whoa, how did I miss this the first time through? -- there are step-by-step building instructions for that too... (URL) know what software might've been used to generate these?   micro scout programming?

Hi! I recently purchased a micro scout kit (Droid Developers Kit) for my son. Does anyone have information on it? Specifically: 1) can it be programmed 2) what is the undocumented 'P' program? 3) can it be used in conjunction with an RCX unit? (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Not to steal John's thunder, but it's just a matter of orienting the brick that way when you put it on the brick under it. Take a 1x1 brick and stick it on a stud- you can turn it, still mounted on the stud, 360 degrees. So, when placing the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Whitby

Thanks to whoever pointed me to the lego outlets in Whitby ! Toymaster was Ok, with all the new footy stuff and I picked up a 2000 catalogue. Best of all was the collectors shop where I picked up a 918 with plans, a boxed 120 train with plans and a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Other collections?

My favourites are Castle, Space, Star Wars (as my .sig probably gives away), and Adventurers. I have large projects planned for all of them, but I'm usually only working on one at a time. Right now, I'm building a large multi-deck space cruiser. -- (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
