  RE: temp (waterproof)

Any ideas on making this waterproof? I have been toying with the idea of making a robot to feed the fish in my office on the weekends, and when I am on vacation. With a waterproof temp sensor it could also send me an e-mail alert if the temp. in the (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Diodes for Sonar Assembly

On the official plans on the HB web site, it says to connect 6 1N5401 diodes for a voltage drop. Can I use 1N5404s instead? We got our sonar module the other day and are itching to try it out.   New engine: DB103 for set #7740

My latest interest has been in doing "something" to revive my own interest in running my LEGO train set #7740 yellow/red passenger train. The result was to try to build a different likeness of the locomotive after which I think LEGO originally (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains) !

  Re: temp (waterproof)

(...) Sure. Stick the thing in Resin. I'd take the temp sensor, solder it directly to along wire. (Cut off the end) and make a mold and seal in in the Resin. That should do it. It will not be fast acting but in a fish tank it shouldn't need it. Put (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Star Wars Minifig Packs - Thoughts

Adam, I am not certain with which part of my statement you are disagreeing. I said two things. 1. Minifigs are not action figures and since they are catagorized as construction toys LEGO can sell them however they wish, in sets or as a set of (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)
