My purpose for making the post was not to solicit bids, and I apologize if
it came out that way.
I do not currently have these sets up for sale. As a matter of fact, I do
not currently even HAVE these sets. I was merely trying to find out if
there would be a market for the pieces from these sets IF I were to purchase
them. Sure, there is a market for complete sets, but this does me no good
considereing I plan to part them out.
It was my understanding that this was the purpose of .appraisal, to find
out the value of pieces/sets that you are not currently selling, but that
you may decide to sell in the future.
I must agree with you on the responses so far though, they are pretty
lack-luster, and not very informative at all. I'm sure that no matter what
I posted here, there would always be someone willing to buy it at a low
price! I did, however, get one informative e-mail out of it so far, that
listed a particular piece and a recent price that it went for...
Oh well, just trying to plan my purchases based on what I might be able to
sell (Since that is how I manage to make any purchases at all!).
