  Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

(...) Thanks! (...) I wish...(well, not really. The only thing I could build with pink bricks is Cadillacs :) They really can't be any other color...) You'll notice that the MPD file is in the colors I actually built the model--white. --Bram (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: NQC and RIS2.0 Firmware

(...) I found the problem... When verifying the checksum, the ROM scans [8000, cc00). Since it zeros out this area initially, this would indeed reflect the checksum of the firmware, provided it is less than 4400 bytes long (in hex). NQC sums the (...)   Re: Signature Characters

(...) Hi Cale, Very cool... Glad to see some plant people in Legos too... :) Even though I do programming/sysadmin/computer security stuff for a living, my degrees are actually in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture. So which Acer is he? Or is (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle.org)

  Re: German Half Tread

I am making my own World War II-era German vehicle. Mine, however, is the Hanomag Sdkfz251. (The half-tread.) I trust you are familiar with the vehicle? I need some help. You know the slanted slit-windows that the driver has? How in the hell am I (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Signature Characters

(...) Oh, OK. I chose Scar/Scarlet as my sig fig for a few reasons. She was the second castle character I ever created (not EVER, but after I reentered castle), and the first one to be in depth, with personality, objectives, history etc. Not only (...) (...) Actually - placing a gyroscope inside two gimbals (structure which pivots in a single plane) with a couple rotation sensors will provide the needed information. It would use two inputs - perhaps a drawback. Another alternative would be to (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Dinsmore Compass interface

I've read a lot of discussion about compass sensors ranging over almost two years and as of yet have heard a success story. I've reached the point I'd like my RCX to be able to accurately do two things: 1) be able to follow a sequence (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Review of 3401 Shoot 'N Score

Sadly, I wasted an hour and a half trip this morning to the Imagination Center in Orlando hoping that the soccer sets would be there (they usually get stock in about 2-3 weeks before the stores do, I have found). Talking to the staff people there, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.reviews)
