  Re: Purimish fun

Wow. This is a holiday I've never heard of. I read a lot, but I have never come across this. Thank you all for teaching me something today. (I'm serious.) I'm Lutheran and from Texas, and as much as I read, I've never heard of this. I hope you all (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Minifig Armies?

(...) Just snag the high minifig count sets whenever they are on sale and your army will grow. I've only been getting Castles stuff the last six months or so and I have about 150 figs from the Ninja line. I'll probably double that when the 2nd year (...)   Re: Anyone been watching the Robo Olympics on BBC2 this week?

(...) I saw some of it yesterday.. is that 'Techno Games' that you're talking about? I found it really infuriating the way it tried to be flashy with quick sucessive shots, meaning that I couldn't actually look at the robots, and see what they did - (...)   Re: Time cruisers or Time losers? (was:Re: Pirate/castle helmet...)

(...) I'd just like to interjct and note that Mel the NLNLF was skeptical about the current attitudes towards Timmy when I described them. However, after placing a Timmy in her city (as a streetsweeper), I was able to observe her repeatedly running (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Time cruisers or Time losers? (was:Re: Pirate/castle helmet...)

An interesting question, just what didn't work about Time Cruisers/Twisters... I decided I liked 'em this year and got the rest. The dinky sets suffer from too many discordant parts. About the Time Vessel, last night I was thinking that the deck is (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
