Some years ago I walked in to an engineering building at MIT and summoned up the nerve to ask some professors what they were working on. They had been meeting in an open central area before splitting up to their offices. To my amazement, the first (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) heheh... when I moved to Boston, started taking math at BHS, and in the first test I got a 10 (out of 100). Definitely didn't make a good impression on my teacher. It took two months before I finally caught up with the terminology... :/ After (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.loc.il)

Thanks! Yes, before, it was a dinky 2-story structure. There is an interesting story about the start of the cutie store. I didn't used to like Belville, but my fiancee (NLF unfortunately) insisted on getting some because she thought it would make a (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.belville)

I have a feeling that your message will get about a zillion responses, but we'll see. I actually bought up several time cruisers set on sale laster year from LEGO shop-at-home (for about 1/2 price). I was primarily interested in aquiring a few rare (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Notice how all these companies have a going concern to promote... that's what puts the pro in "promotional". I think Lego is going to be looking for well- known names that together enhance both brands. Maybe you should start selling cement or (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.promo)

Oops - I put the reference to the 'famous" building, but I didn't notice that Shiri had clipped the original link to my LEGO building that bears a similarity (at least I think so): (URL) Hamilton <bhamilto1@home.com> wrote in message (...) I'm curious if anyone has tried to create a credible looking castle using either the Belville pink spire piece (the big clear one) or the cream, round castle pillar? (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I have never used any Belville elements before, but I just got my first Belville sets, the 5824 and 5823. The triple arches and the white double pillars with the cutout heart arch will be fun to use. I wish they made bricks in the paler yellow (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.belville)
