Ahh, the ageless question :) Dave Eaton and I, in the course of our AT-AT Marathon (I'm still recovering ...) e-mailed each other regularly on issues about scale. For the most part, I went by the minifig's height, and said that it was equal to 1.8 (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

If you were to make up a set of exactly 100 lego bricks/pieces, what would the set consist of, and what kind of container would you use or design for it? The container is not one of the 100 pieces. For the sake of clarification, lets assume that the (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

One word to prevent being there with the crowds: weekday I was there recently on a Friday and there couldn't have been more than 1,000 people in the park. It made sightseeing quite pleasant. If you have to go on the weekend, I suggest arriving at (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.general)

Thanks for adding the set names. Unfortunately, I think that once again our sets are getting different names to everywhere else, as I am sure that one of the sets was rig racers or truck racers, or something assosiated with truck racing. Benjamin (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Hi! OK, this is a really petty/minor nitpick, but I think that the first line should read "Minifig Leg Pegleg" (and not "Minifig Leg Wooden"). Also, if I may ask, why didn't you use any of the "cone" primitives? (I'm still learning this stuff (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Mike has some good points. The PNLTC design isn't the most simple thing out there and Mike suggested a reasonable alternative. The PNLTC design is designed to keep weight to a minimum and still have sufficient strength. Personaly, I have 8 or so of (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
