  Last Castle Series...?

I've just recently come out of my Dark Age which was mercifully short (8 years or so) so excuse the lack of familiarity. If we don't count the Ninjas when was the previous castle theme produced? Chris (26 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: US Customs Duties on Lego Shipments from Europe?

(...) Lego is duty-free going INTO the states. Other countries can (and do!) have import regulations and duties of their own. Like Canada, for example. The gov't, if no greater duties apply, slaps a 7% GST to all incoming goods, and a *really* (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Battery train sets

I wonder if anyone could help me. Did they all have the dedicated cab with three holes for the batteries or did any use the 4.5v battery box with the lever switch ? I have motorised a 7715 with a 4.5 volt motor and wonder if there is a design for (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Table

Wayne have you given any more thought to the layout tables? I have been thinking of setting up a layout in the garage (no basement) and hang it from the rafters this weekend. And with a two-car garage I can put up a fair size layout. My thought is (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

Just a quick "heads up" on a slight interface addition -- We need to add a clickable "Search" button next to the newsgroup search boxes at the top of most pages, due to a forms bug in Microsoft Internet Explorer (and possibly other Netscape clones).   Re: Why did they quit making shooting cannons in the US?

(...) Yes, you can take these cannons apart. there are two small holes on each side of the rear of the cannon that you can push a paper clip into to release the clips. dont use a lot of pressure as you might damage the clips inside. I got a black (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.pirates)

KB Toys just got back on my watch list.

Well I might be a little slow in this but KB is back on my stores to check list. At least in the Massachusetts area KB has not sold LEGO for a while until recently and even then they usually mark up about 5%-10% on the new sets so to me it was not (...) I'll add my superlatives to everyone else's: Stunning! Cool! Marvelous! The side-rotation of the hip is especially nice - as well as the four fingered hand (that's Colin's?)   RCX 1.0 to 1.5 upgrade

Just thought I'd let you all know. After around a 2 month wait, I have received my upgrade kit in the post from LEGO UK.
