Dutch soccer players, 391 Renault, etc.

I've just started a few auctions on eBay: A lot of 12 Dutch soccer players (the orange torso ones) new in bags and including a the torso stickers. (URL) - 1926 Renault 1975 set from the Hobby Set line, includes the ever-popular white spoked wheels. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Villiager Mini-Figs?

(...) Understood. Then what do you do to fill in the wall space in between your roof plates. It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures. Thanks for your help. Markus (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Villiager Mini-Figs?

(...) On the plates for the roof, use the <part:2444 Plate with Technic Hole> (...) These would be too fragile. I'd use <part:4625 1x4 Car Roof Hinge Tile>/<part:4315 1x4 Car Roof Hinge Plate> and <part:4213 Car Roof Hinge>. Jeff, "Thallid Lord" (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Minifig sites and newbie teasing

(...) Hey, your site is really great. Don't underestimate yourself. And it has the most concentrated minifig population I've seen around, except for Craig's (and I'm not sure about that either... I think you might have more *castle* minifigs). I (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Villiager Mini-Figs?

  Re: 8 wide Metroliner

(...) I don't know if you noticed but I used dark gray inverse slopes underneath. They really help hint at the curvature the way light gray or black do not. It was a total accident, I had alot of dark gray slopes and diddn't have many light gray (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: (Movie) Mission to Mars

(...) It was more a combination of the reasons that I stated. I can overlook many small things in a movie, because a person has to suspend reality in many aspects to truly enjoy many sci-fi movies. I enjoy sci-fi, even a lot of the cheesy "B" (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Mark, Want some ideas for biulding mecha with throwbot elements? Check out my site, (URL) in the UESF Heavy Mecha section for some examples that illustrate how to integrate throwbot elements with mainstream lego elements. Todd, (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Micro Mecha  [DAT]

This is a mecha I came up with while fooling around with a bunch of clips and hinges. It has a similar paint sceme to Ben Vaughan's Kodiak Mecha. Anyway, mine has a single operator, 4 Rapid-Fire Pulse Laser Cannons, 2 LRM2, and a Ripley AX-170 (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: (Movie) Mission to Mars

(...) Hmm... I kinda expected this exact outcome, from the very first preview. It just gave off plain old bad vibe's. But what really got to me was NASA's role in the movie. NASA, in my eye's, is a very sad sight indeed. NASA's plight to propel (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Containers

(...) Yea, with a wide enough area, one could use the 2x2/2x2 brackets. It would need a depth of 4 for each side though (meaning a container at least 8 wide). There might also be ways to use the 1x1 brick with studs on all 4 sides. Unfortuantely, to (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
