 | | Turning power off?
|
|
To my dismay, I discovered this morning that the batteries of the RCX were empty. And it's sunday :-( It is possible that I forgot to turn it off, yesterday evening. But aside from this, I use the sequence LCD_CLEAR LCD_REFRESH POWER_OFF to turn the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

 | | Re: I shall call it ... mini-castle.
|

I like it. It would look great perched on top of a rocky knoll overlooking a river or a nice green pasture. From the few castles I've seen around England and France this little one seems to be closer to the real thing than a lot of the larger Lego (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

 | | Reddifest pictures are up

Thumbnails of pictures taken yesterday are now up at: (URL) link speed is incredibly slow at the moment, so I'll upload the large pictures from work tomorrow. The large group picture is up, however, and there are a few question marks against names, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) This was going on last week also, I had stopped by a Kohl's in my pursuit of 4811 Defense Archer polybags (no luck :^(. (...) Ah. On the Qui-Gon head, you've got me. But the other parts are also known from many other sets--especially the big shuttle from several years ago, that had *six* (!) of the half-cylinders and a bunch of 4x4 rounds. Gadzooks, I'm swimming in (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) I'll see if I can get any. It is a bit threadbare--I don't have enough TLG-approved rig to do what I want to do, not to mention not having any sails cut! :) The problem with the rig is that it's very hard to photograph, being black and in a (...) | | Containers
|

I've been on and off thinking about containers (for ships, trucks, and trains). One of the things I'm wondering is if all the LEGO sets which have containers use the same dimensions? The other thing I'm wondering is if I should set my own standards (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

(...) These were manufactured in Denmark and sold via Samsonite in Canada from 1978 through the early 1980's. The four sets listed above are from the range 0012 to 0015. There is also a Town minifig pack (police officer, generic female minifig, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)
