I have thought about the possibility of building such a table. Being an ex-model railroader myself, I would probably build the landscape out of plaster-coated mesh (adding paint and grass afterwards). I thought it would be a good idea to embed green (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Removing Printing From Transparent Parts... I know printing can be removed from bricks etc using household solvents. Is it possible to use the same method on clear windows etc without any damage? Scott A (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

A TRU store by my home has a lot of "recent old stock". It was a real mess, but I found some gems sorting through it. Some of them were attractive when I was last there in 1998! These things make great train roofs--I have a rather large collection of gray ones waiting for me to make train cars to go under them :) They come in Model TEam sets (3 black and 2 red in 5542, I think 2 white, 2 gray, and 6 red in 5561), (...)
