Re: Speculation on the nature of minifigs (moved from Dear LEGO)

(...) Wow, thanks. I didn't know that. I saw the word "canadian arm" at a web page about space shuttle, so I immediately got it as a technical term..:-) I love lugnet, and not only for the sake of bricks..:-) Selçuk (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MPD spec

(...) OK! (...) Where is that documented ? Does it have parameters ? I personally, never heard about that Meta command ! Does a regular (extended) .DAT also suport this or is just an MPD specific meta command ? I think it's the later. [...SNIP. (...) (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Where is the Potomac Mills outlet?

It's in Dale City (or thereabouts), which is south of D.C. on I-95. You can see the Potomac Mills sign from the interstate. (Before you ask for more detailed directions, I'm not a local; I've been there once, and I didn't do the driving.) Jonathan (...) (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  More idea books, please

I've always enjoyed the Lego Idea Books. It's been a couple of years since they made one, even longer since they made a Technic-oriented one. How about more of them? Maybe even one per year? (Sounds good to me, anyway ;-) - Greg (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) That's because the SREC upload uses the native upload code in the RCX ROM. It works really well but has to send each byte as a pair with the bits inverted. Also the header and trailer have to be added. The result is that it would be impossible (...) (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

  Re: MPD spec

(...) Also agree ! But, lets try to make everybody happy ! ;) (...) I don't quite agree with that, because this new format does not need to be just a way to gather a few DAT files, It can be a lot more, but without forgetting that it should be kept (...)   Re: Is this a good Blacktron deal?

(...) I don't know exactly, but a month and a half ago or so someone was selling a few MIB (no pun intended) 6987's at a minimum of $130, I think. But in an auction, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see an MIB MIB (just had to :) to go for over (...) (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

(...) I think $10 is a fair asking price (no more) for the CD, and the profits will go into an account for jumpstarting ldraw.org (its own server?)/future Virtual Lego events (a la illusive .datFest). The money should be distributed via a vote of (...) (26 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
