Re: Just been spammed by Paul Koelewijn

(...) Yup. I'd say he's just ensured his website will be a lonely, desolate place. James (URL) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Just been spammed by Paul Koelewijn

(...) Man, based upon the complaints I've seen about ETA's aggressive advertising, I'm surprised people do business with him. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Help me understand retail sales...

(...) I think of retailing as a gamble, albeit an educated gamble based on all kinds of past historical information & tracking. The actual store profitability is probably much lower than the 40% differential that we think of when we compare MSRP to (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

They can't get any more and I was going to otherwise have to pay more than the sale price. Since these modules take 50 tubs each, 6 baseplates, track and structures, plus $35 to make a table for them, the cost for my layout it quite astronomical, so (...)   Jessiman Family in Europe

Greetings Don and Robyn Jessiman, parents of the late James Jessiman, are travelling to Europe tomorrow. They would like to see if they can meet people in the Lego/LDraw community who live in the UK, Ireland, and Germany on this trip. Since they do (...)   Re: Jessiman Family in Europe

(...) Correction, since they do not have access to a computer *on their trip*, they want phone numbers. Obviously if you are to email them, they have access to one at home. They leave tomorrow, which probably gives a good 10 hours to get responses (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: Finally some pictures of the carrier I'm building!

I really appreciate that Mike. I have your site bookmarked and really like your ships. I have to say that my favorite is probably the Avenger even though the other ships seem to have a more refined and clean look to them. I like all sorts of ship (...) (...) ...Wish you could have been there too. You would have loved it, and your military models would have been a huge hit too (our second 'bonus layout' table was a big hit and would have been perfect!). :-) build well wubwub (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org, lugnet.org.us.wamalug, lugnet.loc.us.va, lugnet.loc.us.dc, lugnet.loc.us.md)

  1/2 volume supercar II

1/2 volume, not length! I thought that the amount of empty space in the supercarII was just insulting to the compressive qualities of technic design. I set out to build, originaly, a scaled down, fully functional version using the tyres from eg, the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New pic comments

I just came back from the lego showroom and the 3PO figure you've seen in the pictures IS a metallic color. I hope they change it, but right now he's a metallic beige. You can't see it in the pics, but he does have a glitter to him just like most (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)
