Re: Set ID - brown 1x6x5 windows

(...) The hospital is 231. It looks like it has brown window frames, but doesn't look like it has the shutters. (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: 8 vs. 6 (was: Excited to Finally be here...)

(...) I 100% disagree. John Neal's 8 wide trains are lovely creations indeed, but I'll put some of my 6 wide stuff up against anything I've seen yet. I built a Milwaukee Road Diesel, you can see the nose of it here: (URL) built it from a picture on (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Suggestion for MLCad.

(...) Suggestion: I add an option to the settings where you can enable such a feature. If enabled I zoom to the center of all selections. This means if there is only one part selected, I zoom to it's center. If there are more parts I zoom to the (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Pause clarification (?) -7171 Mos Espa Podrace

[what's different about Anakin's Podracer set 7131 and the one that comes in 7171] Ahhh. Thanks! But the pod-racers themselves are identical. I thought there might have been some subtle difference between the models. Similar to the differences (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  H8/3297 Assembler

Hi. I'm still trying to locate the H8/3297 assembler and linker. Does anyone have a good source for this. I have some students who want to use LegOS, but they need a software generator. I tried getting it from Hitachi a month or two ago, but it (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 3x6x1 trans fluoro green?

(...) though. Considering how strong LEGO's fetish is for the antifreeze green and flourescent orange colors, it's amazing that this element hasn't been done in either of those colors. -- Jeff <jthompson@esker.com> "Float on a river, forever and (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Miniature Lego - Set ID

(...) This isn't a picture of the Modulex (minature lego) bricks, but check it out - Modulex is still in business as a subsidiary of LEGO. Check the picture out! The signs look like giant LEGO elements. You can definitely sense the LEGO heritage. (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Shock Value

(...) ROFL!!! I think I must too! That's gotta be the reason! That sure is a shock though, I don't think I've ever bought that many copies of a set bigger than a poly or a small 2.00 set :( wish I had the money to though!!! (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: An Acronym Guide - A to Z

Thanks for the guide. I've been following Lugnet for about a month and have been trying to figure out what TRU means. I did get BURP right away, because one of the first postings I saw mentioned it. I think I'm finally ready to join the LUGnet (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Updated my pages; new nanofig-scale starships

(...) Yah, the cone thing is supposed to be a coaxial aerospike engine -- as opposed to a linear aerospike engine, which is what the VentureStar shuttle will use. Unfortunately, I've never seen a coaxial aerospike design, so I'm not sure what it'll (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Updated my pages; new nanofig-scale starships

(...) Wow! Really? I mean, wow! :-D (...) I wouldn't mind some kind of link exchange! I am planning to update my links page (1) with links to you and some others; I just haven't gotten around to it yet. As for an alliance, sorry, but my navies are (...)   Re: Empire Analysis : WAS: [Re: Why I think we'll get Stormtroopers + Imperial ships]

  [CW] Too many wizards???

In a message in another thread, someone made a comment that we should not have too many mages/wizards in our armies. Unfortunately, in the "army" (actually, population) that I'm building, I've already got a dozen or so wizards, most of them "bad (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Skate Park

I just put up a page of my minifig-scale skatepark that resulted from a day of LEGO play and listening to Sonic Youth.   Train Decals

I've seen uses of Train decals on many models that appear to be stickers? They seam to add the finishing touch that I'd like to start using. However, where do they come from? I suspect it's as easy as driving down to the local hobby store and (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
