bridge designs for big space MOCs

I was wondering how some of the minifig spaceship creators here like designing their ship bridges. Most Lego ships only have small one-man cockpits, with a little computer console or some levers. My own ship under construction, the Nautilus ((URL) (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: 8 vs. 6 (was: Excited to Finally be here...)

(...) This will eat your bricks! Has anyone practised 'selective compression'. This is where you build something to scale but 'selectively compress' some aspects or items to reduce space/cost/bricks etc. In most cases this applies to train and (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 8 vs. 6 (was: Excited to Finally be here...)

(...) Nick, if you look at Trains / 3843 (type in 3843 in the search for trains, and it should pop up...sorry, I don't know how to get it to give me the html blue link thingy!) I hashed over the issue a bit. If you go with 5 studs being the gauge, (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) A Lugnet search for insectoid train shows up one of Ben's posts as the 2nd item (after this post it may show up as the 3rd item, since the post I'm responding to shows up as the first). But the real reason for this post: I have been keeping a (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

To all who responded by e-mail. Since there is a lot of interest I will repost in "Auction" I just was not sure on prices for some. If I am too ridiculous on some guide prices please advise. Michael Pratt (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Miniature Lego - Set ID

Re: Miniature Lego - Set ID

(...) I think you may be correct. On second look, some of the pieces have an M logo, not Lego, on each stud. Presume M = Modulex They are perhaps closer to 60% than 50% size too as you say. regards lawrence (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

rcx 1.0 and an ac adaptor

I have an rcx 1.0 and a universal adaptor (the kind with the different plug sizes and voltage settings). Two questions: (1) Do i have to worry about polarity? I've got 2 RCX's and 2 pc's in the same room so will be working with this over the next couple of weeks. The 2 RCX units work really well, my next step is to get the PC's to join the party.
