I have a question about the 8 vs. 6 wide. It revolves around the track width. Given that the 8 wide is approximately related to O scale, what width do the tracks suggest the scale to be? Personally, I have never seen a train that was only as wide as (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Lugnet and brickshlelf Are controlled by Lego In US Me and Brickset are controlled by Lego AS in Denmark But as the new rules from lego, these sites are not to show any logo's unless they have permission, which Lugnet and brickshelf has, but i don't (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Boy, a scanner like that would sure be something! That would save *everyone* a ton of time. 8) As for your Mac. At this point there really isn't any software for that platform.
