Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) It may take days to discuss about this. :) But the director Mr.Tomino says it was a must to break out "old" Gundams after the 20th anniversary since his memorial first series. And there was no other mecha-designers than Mead he think that can (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Why I think we'll get Stormtroopers + Imperial ships

Some of these scenes were filmed but the sequence was never completed. In the original ESB trailer you can see a bit where C-3PO rips a sign off a door. This sign says "DANGER" (not in english, of course) and you can still see that door in the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) To record my models as a CAD data takes time... Especially when the model is as large as the spaceship model. If I had a time to digitize the previous models, I rather like to use it to create more new models. I wish for a super x-ray scanner (...) (...) know (...) Seems to me that we're still looking at a preproduction mockup. The radar dish is a pretty big oops, but that may be a deliberate mistake for sourcing where leaks come from. James (URL) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Freaky custom mini-sized Lego bricks?

(...) I talked with some European AFOLs. It seems that Modulex came out around the same time as small plates. The short lived Architectural sets (#750, #751, #752), which consist of nothing more than 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4 plates were came out (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

8 vs. 6 (was: Excited to Finally be here...)

I have a question about the 8 vs. 6 wide. It revolves around the track width. Given that the 8 wide is approximately related to O scale, what width do the tracks suggest the scale to be? Personally, I have never seen a train that was only as wide as (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
