  Re: Check this out...

(...) Looks like a mock-up or a fan-made item. -corrugated cardboard showing. -the bricks have tell-tale play-marks and scratches on them -why would LEGO make a Star Wars set with a block that has the LEGO logo printed on it (or a sticker, for that (...)   Re: dino-craigo-lego

Craig Dinosaurs ARE my cup of tea and you've ingeniously captured the majesty of these "thunder lizards". I like your imaginative use of parts and colours. Oh and very Stravinskyesque. The stegosaurus is especially inspirational... Henry (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

  Freaky custom mini-sized Lego bricks?

Has anyone ever tried to make their own bricks, using custom moulds? I have this growing fantasy about half-sized (ofcourse not too small to build with) Lego bricks. Imagine building a great castle which fits in the palm of your hand! I can't let go (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Motorhome Ideas

Bumper stickers ;-) Roadkill markings on the front driver's fender ;-) Don't forget to make a KOA sticker. Many of the older motorhomes had a short rail all the way around the top so that you could stack stuff up there. 1x4x1 lattice fences would (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

Death of a LUGNET Membership Card

Once upon a time, Tim received his LUGNET member packet. It was a nice packet, and Tim liked it a lot. Tim used his bookmarks, stickered his minifig and his ldraw.org name badge, and put his nifty membership card in his wallet. The state of his (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: Freaky custom mini-sized Lego bricks?

(...) Have you ever seen the 'Modulex' bricks? I believe Lego made them back in the early 1960's, they were designed for use by architects to build models. They're about 60% the size of standard Lego bricks. I wish I had a link, but I don't even (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Why I think we'll get Stormtroopers + Imperial ships

(...) Of course, by Jedi, we had the Emperor's guard. Not that we ever saw those red-cloaked guys *do* anything (besides stand there and look cool...) but still...I think that must have been where all of the competent Stormtroopers went.
