It appears that you can specify a com port other than the default COM1 for the firmdl3.exe and dll.exe programs for the Windows LegOS distribution package. Does anyone know what the syntax might be? I use COM4 for my IR Tower. Thanks, Dave (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

I've been considering something of "the opposite approach" It ought to be possible to use a PC/workstation based digital camera to determine the location and orientation of the mobile, autonomous robot, and then tell the robot its location (and (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
