  Cheap Webcams?

Just a quickie - plans to borrow a 'proper' digital camera have fallen through, so I was wondering if cheap web-cams (less than $100) have good enough quality for taking LEGO pictures? Some of the ones in my price-range are max resolution of (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Wow. Castle was good!

I only had classic space (pre-Blacktron) and freestyle when I was a kid, so I never really knew what the castle series used to be like. I've come out of my dark ages tuned into castle in a big way (1). I've been collecting a lot of clearance Ninja, (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Informal WB Store Survey

I ordered 30 8445s on th 29th and 30th, after they were relisted on the site on the 29th. Anyone want to guess what happened to the orders? That's right, CANCELLED. And talking to the Catalog order folks, you can't talk to the web folks, you can (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Rush: "Lego is a Tool for 4 year olds"

< cross posted to off-topic-debate > Rich, (...) Hmm... Being a Rush fan and a definite AFOL, I can see the logic of his thinking. Testing people on the ability to build anything, regardless of how good they might be, is a strange way of testing (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.general)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

Ouch! I bruised my jaw on my desk! What a wonderful microfig scale ship! I must link to this site. Pat J I'm putting the finishing touches on a ship that has a similar overall design. I'll post soon.   WTT: 4537 (Twin Tank Transport) for 4543 (Flatbed)

I'll trade 3 MISB 4537s for 2 4543s. I'd prefer the 4543s also be MISB, but "really good shape" used is fine too. I don't have to have boxes/instructions for both 4543s, though one box and instruction sheet would be nice. I'll also consider trading (...)   Re: 1977- Does lego wrap its box with clear plastic?

(...) Johan, as others have already said, yes they did use shrink wrap. I purchased some of the London Bus sets (#760) from 1975-76, and they were sealed in plastic. Gary Istok (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(URL) I have added the 1252-1256 Shell sets to my Trade section, but am ONLY trading them for sets with garage doors, as noted on the page. I will not sell these sets (except for the ones going on Ebay, of course), I am only offering them as trades (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
