Re: New LEGO Outlets are coming

Thanks for clearing that up. And now my standard complaint, part 2. When someone posts something on RTL, and doesn't attribute sources, it's a rumor. Posting it here as "fact" without attribution adds little or no value. How many extra keys would it (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Old set off ebay

Hi, I don't know how old this is, but it seems to be old. It's model number 545, so it's probobly about 10 years old or more. (URL) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Direi che da un punto di vista analitico sarebbe bene che la funzione che descrive il circuito (vista nei suoi semipiani di monodromia) fosse almeno di classe C3. Questo per far si' che tecniche di controllo PLC possano evitare i ben noti (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: LUGs???

(...) :-( some bad news... the ship is in pre pack mode and in pieces. But thanks for the offer Frank! Good luck you guys with your club!! I'll keep in touch. If I have time on my hands I'll make runs to the Lego Outlet store. I should be about an (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.org.us.nclug)

  Re: Questionable eBay auction

I think I read John's post too fast. If John is talking about a US money order drawn on a US branch of a US bank, I agree with you, it's blatant and there is no reason for it. The seller may be confused or shady. However all the other examples you (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Half price 8448 from Argos

Hi All, Argos have just changed catalogue and the new one doesn't have the 8448 in it. I just called Argos Direct and ordered an 8448 for £37.45 (about £41 including delivery). Happy shopping! Regards, Conrad. (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Character Subcategories

(...) p ~ i think interesting allowances could be made so that "gypsies and nomads" could be added to the list. their Realm could be made to "float" over unoccupied Realm spaces. interesting, no? later ~ craig~ (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  the Balladeers of Castle World

hello, all ~ well, CW is on my mind 24 hours a day, and i'm working on it about 4-5 hours a day! it would be more if i didn't have two other (paying) jobs. i'm truly loving every mind-boggling minute of it! the mapping and storytelling systems are (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Positioning

Well, it seems that you all want this to be flexible. How I understand it is that you will have to do at least some preperation to use this landmark system. Now I was thinking about Marco's idea-put a grid of IR beams on the floor, and use the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Positioning

Well, I can tell the robot to turn 45 degrees using timing but it's not precise enough. It would be something about 43-47 degrees. I could use a rotation sensor (but I don't have one) to increase accuracy but there will always be a smal error. After (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
