Hello Huw, (...) There's another picture above the scanned part where the cars are in a 3D-view. So, yes, it's right, the roofs are built with 3x2 curved bricks. Also the windows are clear panels 1x2x2. There's the slogan "All New Silver Bricks!" (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Fine set of cars. But as for the 'silver': I fear those bricks are molded in the new swirly plastic that is supposed to look metallic, but actually looks like really cheap plastic. May still be nice for a change as opposed to regular bricks, (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) That's what I assumed. First time I saw it is in the printed curved wings of the Green Goblin's flyer <set:1374>. I got a handful of bricks in it from the RLD backstage visit to LLW, left over from their Virgin Atlantic 747-400 cockpit model. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)
