| | | | | Question to the group: Has anyone heard any rumours of what the next Star Wars
UCS set will be? If a next one even exists? And if so, when is it set to be
released? Just curious. Thanks.

I heard it's gonna be another sculpture; either Jabba the Hutt or Jar Jar Binks.

Well, that would be no fun. I was hoping for another ship. Oh well, I guess
we'll need to wait and see. Thanks Allister.

Indeed.

You picked, of course, that I was joking. Surely not even Lucasfilm expects
anyone to spend money on Jar Jar stuff any more.
Cheers,
Allister
ps A UCS Millenium Falcon would be AWESOME.

Why not? He's the best carachter in the movie IMHO. Not to mention all the tan
that would bring!

I dunno... I know someone who would be very happy with all that cheap tan :)

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I would certainly hope Lego would have gotten the clue from the success of
the ISD.
I would not expect we will see another large ship so soon. Seems more
likely once the ISD is closer to being discontinued.
BTW, if you need cheap tan, the Lego outlet at Discover Mills still has a
bunch of Yoda sculptures for $40. I would expect they are available at all
the outlet stores for this price.

The only solid rumor we've seen was that ToyFare Magazine said they were
planning to do another UCS set, but we've not heard anything solid about when or
what it would be. If it's a ship, I can almost guarantee it will be the Falcon,
though I'd personally prefer to see Slave I first.

I'm not sure that the Falcon would be a guarantee. I think if Lego does make a
ship, it would be a HUGE sell if it was the Falcon. But, there are certainly
more ships that they can choose from like Slave 1. Somehow though, I don't think
they'd go down that path now that there have been (technically) 2 system sets of
Slave 1. I was thinking maybe something like the Super ISD from "Return of the
Jedi" ;-)

Id put my money on a tie-in with the next movie. Given the fans love for the
Falcon, Lucas is probably trying to work it into the next movie, for marketing
tie-in reasons. (my speculation only) That would also make it a logical choice
for a UCS set, especially since the System-scale Falcon was so lame (except as a
grey parts pack).
