Rick & All,

Since I dont fancy myself in the 'Train' Department, I am
more town and
space, I have some thing I might build for the GATS show
but won't be train:

Any help is appreciated! : )

1) a municipal blng. (fire station, police statio,
city-hall, etc...)

We could use a government building, we have enough fire
stations. A police station would be nice.

2) office buildings

Definately, or some commerical buildings, like strip malls,
stores, etc.

3) a wherehouse sitting by the tracks. (I have been
expermenting with the
15" x 15" baseplates for a roof.)

A warehouse? That would be very useful.

4) (sorry, had to throw it in) a spaceport.

Well, I have one too, but I don't think it will fit in too
well. Besides, the airport could cover being a spaceport
anyway.

Now the office building I can do fairly quickly, but the
wherehouse might
take some time. I might put some automation in it as
well. If you have
somethign you need, LMK, so i can start to design it.

Thank you sir! We all appreciate it. We are expanding the
tables, so we nee every building we can get, from phone
booths to skyscrapers! : )

Oh where is my wherehouse? :o)

(that's warehouse)

At least you didn't slip up one more letter there. ;-)

Unfortunately I don't think I will have anything to contribute for the
show.

My next project is a minifig scale stealth fighter... so unless anyone
wants to stage a reenactment of the stealth fighter / train attack scene
in "Under Siege 2".....     ;-)

The scale may be too large to fit in properly with the airport also.

How about a pet food factory?  Anybody have a lot of unused horses?  :^D

Have a rectangular building with no windows.  Have the horses funnel up a
ramp on one side.  Have a big door along the side of the building for empty
trucks to enter (make the fact that they are empty noticable).  At the end
of the building opposite to the horse entrance ramp, have another big door
for trucks leaving chalk full of canned goods (1x1 cylinders).  Trucks only
enter empty, only leave full, large numbers of horses enter, no horse is
ever seen leaving the building.

Then put some happy mural along one side, like: "Smile!", and have a simple
sign over the truck doors: "Billy Bob's Pet Foods"

It would be very simple to incorporate into a town layout, and would be easy
since you NEVER show the interior.
