The Cleveland area members of BLOC are gathering again on March 10, this
time to BrikWars!
The meeting will be at my house, starting around 1:00pm (these gatherings
never start on time, we just blame it on Gino). If you need directions to
my house, e-mail me and include where you will be coming from.
My address is as follows if you want to trust Mapquest:
13904 Mapleleaf Drive
Garfield Heights, OH 44125
The plan is to BrikWars at Tech Level 2, but of course, this is subject to
change depending on who shows up and what they bring.
To see some of what we ahve done in the past, check out:

Cool, I will bring my Allmighty Samurai Army, that made Gino's forces run
for their mommies. Muahahahaha! And maybe some skeletons and other stuff
too, if other people need some armies to play with.
Should I bring any scenery or baseplates or anything like that?

Oh, wow, a LUG that I didn't know about! When was BLOC founded? It's a LUG
in the Cleveland area? (I take it that Ohio is the Buckeye state? :-)

Well, it hasn't officially been announced yet :) Gino created the site and
published it on March 6th, and we were waiting to hear back from a couple
more people before going public (potential members, current email addresses,
and web pages), but since Troy's let the cat out of the bag, I guess we're
official now.
Ohio is indeed the Buckeye state, and while BLOC is based in Cleveland, it's
a statewide User Group.

I will also join. Sorry I didn't respond to your email. It is OK by me to
release my info. But, alas, I too will not be getting to Cleveland this
weekend.

In the interest of accuracy, and I know Adrian is a stickler for details,
BLOC was founded 4/15/2000, in Columbus. Although, we technically haven't
settled on a name yet, I just went ahead and setup http://www.bloconline.org/.
There never was complete agreement on the name. But, BLOC seemed to have
majority support. Todd even joined the debate at one point.

So, watch for the official announcement momentarily.
BTW, I probably won't be able to make Saturday. If I can, I'll be there.
But, don't wait for me.
Later,

Oops!
I didn't realize it was a secret. I was under the assumption that it was
formed quite some time ago, and just hadn't had a website made up yet.

So, who is actually coming then? Does this leave just me, Bram and Adrian?

Just wanted to let Adrian (and any other tall people that are coming) that I
have finished hanging the new flourescent lights in the basement! No more
hitting your heads on the track lighting, which has been removed!
Troy (who is too short to have hit his head on anything!)

I'll be there, with my Valkyrie army in tow... did we ever decide on a point
total, or are we doing that tomorrow?
