The hall I have hired is fairly large but could people please let me know if
they are bringing anything to the event. Personally, I'd like to put on a
good display of what UK AFOLs can do. C'mon, aren't we the best around?

What do you need to know?

I am planning on attending and bringing my mini-excavator and bobcat (based
on Jen Clark's models) -

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=132219

I could also bring
EITHER one of my castle/pirates mocs -
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=15803 and
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=14522 (which would appeal to
children and/or adults with children as they are "playable")
  OR my monorail - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=235871.
BUT the monorail would need a fairly large area (about 8 feet by 6 feet) and
would look better for a few buildings (anybody feel like contributing)

regards

William

PS - I also have some new parts I was thinking of bagging up for sale - what
are the "rules" on selling at an event like this?

August 12th is coming up fast. I'm working flat out to complete several fairly ambitious models finished in time. One aspect of the displays on show will be a large spacecraft hanger for any sci-fi models which are brought along. I'm also planning a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
