This has already happened. More and more, when people get serious about the
online community, they get their own website(1). In order to keep up-to-date on
MOCs, etc, I usually check four or five websites a day.

This is partly because Northstar's free web hosting has a 100MB limit, but mostly because I like the idea of people being able to also search my gallery (...) IMHO big images are just a waste of bandwidth (people get frustruated anyway when they realise the dimensions of the image, and hit back in disgust) as well as space.
