Yeah, seems like a fairly simple case of a personal dislike, motivated by I
don't know what, but not really important to me.

I use the web interface now as well, but if I ever switch back to a news
reader I'll have my sig pre-defined for every post but since I use a real
reader and not a web browser/e-mail program defining sigs for just LUGNET (or
heck, for individual groups ON LUGNET) won't be a problem, so chances are, my
sig will be strictly Lego-related.

If I felt like including my job title (which, since I work at a state
university that is 20 years behind the times in IT HR matters has nothing to
do with my job FUNCTION) I'd do it, though.  I just don't.  But I don't give a
rat's behind if anyone else does.  And sometimes it is cool to know that Joe
So-and-So works for XYZ Corp, and I don't see it as "bragging" either way.

(...) Well, I use the web interface so currently (unless I get off my duff and find a macro solution) my sig is whatever I feel like typing by hand. But when I was posting via Netscape news, my sig was what I had configured it to be. Since I posted (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.admin.terms, lugnet.faq)
