Hmmm.  Could be wrong, but methinks the main reason for which we piratical
types would be craving Castles would be for the battering down thereof ;-)

Richard
Still baldly going...

Check out Port Block at http://www.hinet.net.au/~rparsons/port/

I find myself contemplating adding an interactive map of the world (olde
worlde style) to the Port Block site, identifying other ports and places • in
the historical (piratical) legoverse.

Hey good idea!

Us town folk should also think about this as well. It would be a lot • better to
have a map of all the towns and cities, than to search all over the web • for a
particular site. LMKWYT

Hehe... sounds to me like you guys are all craving something like Castle
World... ;-)

Good luck w/it!!

'Tis a lonely world where one can range anywhere with carefully (or
not-so-carefully) placed steel shot.  In any case, I like the idea.  Really.
Arr.  I do know where a lovely French outpost would absolutely certainly go--on
New Caledonia (sorry, didn't think of a good pun yet), which was a French
possession.  Nice n' close to ol' Port Block, isn't it now?  Too bad we weren't
closer to East Africa, where one might put a coaling stop near ABSsyinia...

Well I don't... it took me a heck of a long time to work on my "castle", as
the "man of la mancha" put it (1), and I wouldn't want to see any REAL blood
on those stones!! ;-)

What was that WWII drama set near the river plate with the pilot of the
seaplane battling the submarine ?
Two men, a U-boat and a pizza place ?

Was that 'man of Lego Australia, man, cha cha cha?'
