Hello all,

I would like to announce that there is a new version of MLCad available!

MLCad V3.40

What's new:

- Implemented basic undo functionality (might be a bit slow, but should
work)
- Improvements for network installation or installation under Windows
Vista and
above. MLCad now doesn't write to its installation path anymore.
- Save pictures in more formats, now supporting Bitmap, Jpeg, Gif, Tiff
and Png.
- Serveral bug-fixes

More detailed information is available in the release notes and on the
web-site:
http://mlcad.lm-software.com

I wish you fun with the new release and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Best regards,
    Michael

Hello Michael,

Highly appreciated (especially the undo!!!), a nice X-mas present for LDraw
community.

One small problem, in position/orientation dialog it seems that I can't check
"Use rotation vector value"? Any hint?

I haven't installed the program yet to check...

But in the previous version there was a problem when referencing a MPD file from
inside another LDR or MPD file. I mean, let's say you have CAR.LDR and it
references WINDSHIELD.MPD. Then, the second file will not load properly and a
bunch of errors will appear.

Have you fixed this problem? Thanks!

Apparently the problem still exists. It makes editing Datsville more difficult
at times.

Sounds like you're missing the latest LDConfig.ldr. I've got all the colors
above. Load from:

http://www.ldraw.org/Downloads-req-viewdownload-cid-1.html

BTW, we have moved to: http://forums.ldraw.org/

Thanks Willy.

First it would work at all, even i replaced the old LDConfig file.
But then i remarked that i was still on MLCAD Version 3.2,while the latest one
is 3.4
After installing the 3.4 version, everything O.K.

And now adding a shortcut to the new forum!

Regards,
Ludo
